This session builds on Arduino Level 1 to introduce our crafting and cars kit. Discover how Uno can be linked into a car chassis, along with motors and sensors, to enable your students to build self-driving cars. We also look at creating wearables using LilyPad Arduinos and conductive thread.
This 1/2 day professional development activity is designed for classroom teachers in grades 7+ who have attended Arduino – Level 1 and are looking to do slightly more advanced Arduino circuits. The opportunity is open only to teachers of the Saskatoon Public School Division, Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division, Prairie Spirit School Division, and Saskatoon Tribal Council.
During the in-service classroom kits and curricular activities will be introduced to teachers for use in their classrooms. Kits will then be made available to teachers who have received this training.
Note: This session is full.
